This week the world celebrates Holy Week. Sunday we celebrate Easter. The day when Jesus rose from the dead. Because He rose from the dead, that means he is alive today and He has is able to give us the help we need for our life.
Presence.
Because Jesus rose from the dead, He is present with us. Hebrews 13:5-6 in the Message says: “Since God assured us, “I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,” we can boldly quote,
God is there, ready to help; I’m fearless no matter what. Who or what can get to me?”
He says “I will not leave you as orphans” (John 14:18);
You know when I leave and when I get back;
I’m never out of your sight.
I look behind me and you’re there,
then up ahead and you’re there, too—
your reassuring presence, coming and going.
This is too much, too wonderful—
I can’t take it all in!
