Facing the great inevitable

life after death - dealing with deathSteve Jobs, founder of Apple died on Wednesday.  In 2005, in his commencement speech at Stanford he shared candidly about death:

“Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything — all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure – these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important.”

His life and recent death have given us occasion to pause and reflect on deeper issues of life and death.  I found a good article called “Facing the Inevitable” .  You may enjoy reading this and passing it on to others who might benefit from it.

  1. Thanks for sharing. En este artículo aprendí que una herramienta para luchar contra el temor es tener presente que el Señor es el Principe de Paz, y en EL puedo obtener esa paz para enfrentar las adversidades.
