My wife (her blog) shared this with me the other day. We laughed all weekend! What do you think is the point of the story? A man and woman had been married for more than 60 years. They had shared everything. They had talked about everything. They had kept no secrets from each other except that... Continue Reading →
What Makes a Marriage Last?
Andrea Buczynski shares a wonderful story of times with Howard and Jeanne Hendricks. I took a couple classes with him many years ago. Dr. Hendricks, endearingly known as “Prof” by the thousands of students whose lives he touched through his teaching and example, recently passed away. Andrea writes a wonderful tribute to him. Almost every mile we found call boxes. Most of us drive problem-free to our destinations, but who would you call... Continue Reading →
4 Practices for Kindling Love in Marriage
Last month I lost my mom (you can read her tribute here), and my dad lost the love of his life of over 55 years. My parents were not perfect, nor did they have a perfect marriage. I know that because I know my own life, and we all have struggles and imperfections. One thing... Continue Reading →
