Living well includes good health. That requires healthy eating and also consistent exercise. I was encouraged by the comments from The Nines online conference for leaders to take care of their physical body. I have been doing this for several years now. My son John, who has been an inspiration to me and at times a mentor, shared with me the 100 Push-Up Challenge. I decided to do it. Why not join me?
The first step is to take a couple minutes to read the introduction and familiarize yourself with the 100 Push-Up Challenge.
Next, read What is a Push-Up? about how to do a push up correctly. If you are more of a visual learner, click on the video for a one minute instruction on the correct mechanics of a push-up.
Now you are ready to take the initial test. This will personalize your training program and you will be able to start from where you are.
Pray for discipline and perseverance to last the 7 weeks. And before Thanksgiving arrives, you will be a lean, mean, fightin’ machine…and not have to feel guilty about second helpings on the turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes!
Are you in? Will you take the 100 Push-Up Challenge? Let me know. Comment here about how you are doing.

What do you think?
